The<lb />Conference is scheduled for October 5, 6, and 7, 1990 and<lb />will be held in Cherokee, NC, home of the outdoor drama UNTO<lb />THESE HILLS.<lb /><lb />The panel is tentatively titled "Open Forum: The Planning and<lb />Development of a New Outdoor Historical Drama" and is<lb />scheduled for Saturday, October 6, from 1:30pm until 3:00pm.<lb />Panel moderator will be Bob Britton, director of TRUMPET IN<lb />THE LAND, who will be in touch with you regarding format<lb /><lb />and organization for the panel.<lb /><lb />The idea behind this panel is to offer advice and respond to<lb />questions from those individuals who are in the process of<lb />developing new outdoor dramas. I have suggested that each<lb />panel member briefly address a specific area of the<lb />development process, perhaps provide some background on his<lb />or her own involvement with outdoor drama, and then turn the<lb />meeting over to questions and answers. Questions and answers<lb />will be the bulk of the session.<lb /><lb />Areas of interest which this panel might address include:<lb /><lb />Community Relations<lb /><lb />Capital Development<lb /><lb />Site Requirements<lb /><lb />Organization of the Association<lb />Story Identification/Playwrighting<lb /><lb /></p>
