Enclosed is a receipt for your registration fee.<lb /><lb />Cherokee is located 50 miles west of Asheville, North Carolina (see enclosed map). Driving time<lb />from the Asheville airport to Cherokee is approximately one hour, 15 minutes. HERTZ (704-684-<lb />6455) is offering special reduced weekend rates to Outdoor Drama Conference delegates. Rates<lb />range from $23 for a compact to $26 for a full-size, 4-door, with unlimited mileage. Other rental<lb />car companies serving the Asheville airport include Avis, Budget, National and Enterprise.<lb /><lb />Upon arrival at the Holiday Inn in Cherokee, please stop by the Conference desk to pick up your<lb />registration folder. This will contain the full program schedule, announcements, special<lb />information, meal tickets, tour tickets and a nametag. The Conference desk will be open for<lb />check-in Friday, October 5, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, October 6, from 8:30 a.m. to<lb />noon. The first Conference session will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5.<lb /><lb />Company reps are encouraged to bring a large supply of souvenir programs, brochures, and other<lb />promotional materials for distribution at the Conference.<lb /><lb />Both the Saturday morning tour of the Mountainside Theatre and the optional Sunday tour of<lb />area attractions will take place rain or shine. Bus transportation will be provided, but don�?Tt forget<lb />to bring along a raincoat, umbrella, comfortable shoes and a sweater. Early October weather in<lb />the mountains can be unpredictable.<lb /><lb />Additional tickets for the Friday night seafood buffet ($15), the Saturday night Indian feast<lb />($14.50), the Saturday morning tour lunch ($6), and the optional Sunday tour ($5) will be available<lb />at the Conference desk.
