Point has been claimed the strong-<lb />
est small-college team in the South-<lb />
east. This was the first game of<lb />
the winter term and the gymnasium<lb />
was packed to capacity with cheer-<lb />
ing spectators, who came expecting<lb />
to see the locals swamped and went<lb />
away pleased at Pirates' fine show-<lb />

High Point took an early lead in<lb />
the game, and led by Towerv<lb />
chalked np 28 points in the first half<lb />
against the Teachers' 17. With the<lb />
