The motion passed. Grossnickle summarized a letter from Muzzarelli which stated recognition of overlap between SLAP and ENGL 5501. Despite his opposition, Muzzarelli with strong reservations, withdrew opposition to ENGL 5501. NEW BUSINESS: Professors Sanders, Coble, Foster, Buttery, and Spence from Education, Joyner from Math, and Ms. Edminston, East Green Middle School Principal requested approval for revision of BS iddle Grades, add MIDG 2123, revise concentrations in Physics and Chemistry. Wease moved ceptance, Coulter seconded. The motion passed as amended. Representatives from Education and Math came to an agreement requiring MATH 2127, 3166 which necessitated changing prerequisites for MATH 3136 to MATH 2127. Coulter moved acceptance, Cain seconded.
