FACULTY SENATE ANNOUNCEMENTS
APRIL 17, 1990

The Chancellor has approved the following Senate resolutions:

#90-31 Approval of Spring 1990 Graduation List
#90-32 Recommendation pertaining to the publication of Academic Committee

charges
#90-33 Curriculum Committee Report on Minutes of February 22, 1990

Senate, Appellate, and Academic Committee Chairs are reminded that committee
annual reports are due in the Faculty Senate Office no later than Monday,
April 30, 1990.

Bob Schellenberger, Chair of the Educational Policies and Planning Committee,
will petition the Senate to hear a committee report today.

Ernie Schwarz, Marie Farr, and Larry Smith have been granted speaking
privileges during today's meeting.

In February, the Faculty Senate, along with the Chancellor, passed Resolution
#90-20, #90-23, and #90-25, revising two academic committees and structuring
one new committee. Therefore an editorial change needs to be made to Appendix
A, Section V. of the By-Laws (Page A-12) updating the list of Academic
Committees. The first paragraph should read as follows:

"Currently there are two Faculty Senate committees, the Agenda Committee
and the Committee on Committees; three appellate committees, the Due Process
Committee, the Hearing Committee, and the Reconsideration Committee; and 21
academic committees as follows:"
