Professor M. Schwarz and J. Arias, Foreign Language, requested approval of SPAN 2120: Intro to Hispanic Lit. Topper moved to accept; Neal seconded. The motion was approved as amended. Professor C. Knight, Biology, requested a revision of B.S. Biology and B.S. Biochemistry, changing math requirements in both. Coulter moved to accept; Carlton seconded. The motion was approved as amended. Professor E. Erber, Industrial and Technical Education, requested a revision of B.S. degree requirement for Technical Education major. Shea moved to accept; Larrimore seconded. The motion was approved as amended. Professor 0. Welborn, Driver's Education, requested changing DRED 3330 to DRED 2330 (K-12 Safety Ed), thereby revising B.S. Driver and Safety Ed. Grossnickle moved to accept; Larrimore seconded. The motion passed as amended. Professor W. Spickerman, Mathematics, requested approval for CSCI 1610: Elementary PASCAL; CSCI 1618: Elementary COBOL; CSCI 2510: Introduction to Algorithms and Programming; CSCI O01: Programming in ADA; CSCI 2902: Programming in C; CSCI 2903: Programming in FORTRAN; vise and change prerequisite for CSCI 2610 (Intro to Structured Programming); change prerequisite for CSCI 3573 (Intro to Numerical Analysis); revise B.A. in Math with option in Computer Science, B.A. Computer Science, B.S. (Prof) Computer Science, minor in Computer Science. Neal moved acceptance; Lunney seconded. The motion passed as amended. Professor R. Chin, Construction Management, requested approval for CMGT 4501: Lab Prob: Construction Mgmt; IDIS 3770: The Elect Dist: Purpose and Functions; revise B.S. Industrial Technology, Construction Management and Technical Sales and Services concentrations. NOTE: IDIS 3770 requires additional resources. CMGT 2664, 2666; IDIS 2770, 4770, 5770 were withdrawn for futher consideration. Shea moved acceptance; Carlton seconded. The motion passed as amended. Professor C. Ayers, Chemistry, requested revision of B.A. and B.S. Chemistry; change prerequisite for CHEM 3850, 3851, 3950, 3960; deleted CHEM 5850, 5851. Lunney moved acceptance; Coulter seconded. The motion passed as amended. Professor K. Sparrow, English, requested approval for ENGL 3100: World Lit in English. Carlton moved acceptance; Lapas seconded. The motion passed as amended. Grossnickle moved to remove the following courses from the Curriculum Bank: ENGL 5340: Modern Prose Lit (3); HIST 4610: History of Southeast Asia (3); and GERM 2220: Modern German Drama in Translation (3).
