Ryan ( : ie Date: September 29, 1989 At the College of Arts and Sciences Chairs' meeting September 28, 1989, the following resolution was passed without dissent: Whereas the purposes of the administrative survey are unclear; and Whereas the nature of the instrument may not produce accurate datas; therefore Be it resolved that the administration, the Faculty Senate, and representative evaluated administrators develop a clear set of evaluative and diagnostic goals, along with data- gathering protocols designed to produce information from a variety of sources which will provide a fair and accurate assessment of administrative performances; and Be it further resolved that administrative performance data be evaluated in the context of University standards and faculty performance in meeting those standards.
