Page A-5: Under Section VIII, first paragraph, add amendment to end of paragraph as follows: "Before the first regular meeting of the Faculty Senate, the Chair will appoint the Parliamentarian of the Faculty. The Parliamentarian need not be a member of the Faculty Senate, but shall advise the Chair on the parliamentary matters according to the latest edition of Robert's Rules of Order and the Constitution and By-laws of the Faculty Senate." Page A-5: Strike the last paragraph of Section VIII. Pursuant to Appendix A, Page A-8, Section XIV. Atkeson introduces Alumni President Burney Rivenbark to present the annual alumni teaching awards. Rivenbark presents the alumni teaching excellence awards. Atkeson thanks Rivenbark and the Alumni Association, then notes that Bloodworth wishes to present further information regarding teaching excellence. Bloodworth announces finalists, asking that they stand (and that applause be held until all have been recognized) and mentions Jefferson cups to be presented at school/college faculty meeting.
