The Committee is formally organized and conducts business employing
Robert's Rules of Order.

In cases where there are specific recommendations with regard to amending
unit codes, the Chair of the Committee meets with either the Unit Head or
the Chair of the Unit Code Committee or both to explain the Unit Code
Screening Committee's concerns and their specific recommendations.

Duties: Guidelines that were passed on to this Committee by the
Faculty Governance Committee have yet to be submitted and
approved by the Faculty Senate. This matter needs to be
attended to early in the 1988-89 academic year. These
guidelines should be presented to the Senate by the Faculty
Governance Committee.
