An Appeals Subcommittee was appointed to hear appeals from students who are
denied financial aid by the Office of Financial Aid.

. List of committee accomplishments including recommendations made to agencies
other than the Faculty Senate.
General Scholarship Policies were established
Jenkins Scholarships were approved.

Ex-officio Membership of the committee was considered and found useful as it
exists.

Recommendations: (1) Early in Fall 1988, a Subcommittee should be formed to

study long range planning for awarding the Jenkins Scholarships. (2) Active
student membership on this committee should be encouraged.

Citation of the resolution numbers of Senate resolutions that originated
with the committee. (See Faculty Senate Minutes, academic year 1977/78).
