Laupus' remarks Atkeson introduces SGA President Scott Thomas. Thomas' remarks Atkeson introduces Alumni President James Hicks to make presentations. Hicks presents the award to Eakin and the alumni teaching excellence awards. Atkeson thanks Mr. Hicks and the Alumni Association, then notes that Bloodworth wishes to present further information regarding teaching excellence. Bloodworth explains the procedure used to identify candidates for teaching excellence awards, reveals the pewter cups to be presented to the finalists for the awards, and announces those persons, asking that they stand (and that applause be held until all have been recognized). Atkeson introduces Chancellor Eakin for presentation of plaque to Wilson. The Chancellor shows the plaque to faculty and makes nice remarks. Eakin's remarks Atkeson adjourns the meeting, reminding faculty of committees' organizational meetings at 3:00, and noting that the faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences should remain in the theatre.
