At the December 9, 1986, meeting of the Faculty Senate of East Carolina
University, the following resolutions were approved for your consideration:

#86-27 Charge of the Unit Code Screening Committee and the
Revisions in the Charge of the Faculty Governance Committee

#86-28 Curriculum Committee Minutes of Oct. 23 and Nov. 13, 1986 which
include the revision of the English B. S. Degree and the new
policy for General Education credit for interdisciplinary
courses

Endorsement and Commendation of Tinsley Yarbrough regarding
the letter written to the Editor of the Daily Reflector as a
response to the editorial printed in that paper on Wednesday,
November 26, 1986, regarding the Faculty Senate's involvement
in the Chancellor Search Process

Please find enclosed a copy of the Minutes of the December 9, 1986, meeting
