I approve the Faculty Senate resolutions passed at the
March 18, 1986 meeting, as follows:

86-8 Curriculum Committee Report of minutes of February
27, 1986 including Approval of Sections 1 & 2 (See
March 18 Agenda)

Approval of Section 3 (a) of Curriculum Committee
Report of February 27, 1986 (See Agenda of March 18)

Delay of Section 3 (b) of Curriculum Committee Report
of February 27, 1986, to provide for open hearings so
that those involved have a chance to make comments to
the appropriate authorities (See Agenda of March 18)

Approval of Section 3 (c) of Curriculum Committee Report
of February 27, 1986 as editorially changed to read
"that broadcasting courses not be used to satisfy
general education requirements" (See Agenda of March 18)

Amendment to. Curriculum Committee Report of February
27, 1986, Section 3 (a), (b), and (c) to become
effective the day after graduation in the Summer of 1988.
