C. 27834 Dear Dr. Howell: At the first regular meeting of the East Carolina University Faculty Senate, on September 17, 1985, the Senate approved the following resolutions for your consideration: (85-32) A resolution that thanks be given to Helen Ruff Broaddus, former Office Secretary of the Faculty Senate Office, for her years of dedicated and exemplary service to the faculty and the Faculty Senate Office. A resolution that consideration of the nomination of fixed term faculty to Faculty Senate Committees was referred to the Faculty Governance Committee to be reported on at the October Faculty Senate meeting. (85-34) A resolution by Carl Adler indicating that the six year cap does not apply to certain faculty was referred to the Faculty Affairs Committee. Thank you for your consideration of these matters.
