In addition they revised the evaluation form to more clearly rate the proposals. The Committee also coordinated their proposal call with the Research Committee and prepared a yearly calendar of activities. Citation of Resolution Numbers: None Business to be Carried Over to Next Year: Continue to review the proposal materials, especially the evaluation forms. See XI below for suggestions. Committee Evaluation: All Categories Satisfactory Suggestions for Improving Committee Effectiveness: Continue to send one call per year (October) for Summer 1987 and 1987-88 academic year. Send recommendations for all proposals to the Vice Chancellor by March 1, 1987. Send a letter to the author of the proposal regarding the Committee's recommendation. In addition, the Committee recommends that the following ideas be considered: 1. Blind reading of proposals 2. Revise guidelines to more clearly distinguish between summer and academic year proposals Prepare a different evaluation device for summer proposals (See minutes of February 27, 1986 for more details)
