activities, etc.

A subcommittee was created to hear appeals from students who are denied
financial aid by the Office of Financial Aid.

 
List of Committee accomplishments including recommendations made:

A. Assumed responsibility for the Jenkins Scholarship and made awards
for spring 1985 and fall 1986.

Endorsed the "guidelines of Federal Financial Aid Funds and Appeals
Procedures'' from the Office of Financial Aid.

Studied the current financial aid situation and the probable impact
of federal reductions in aid to East Carolina University students.

D. Regular Business: Approval of Scholarships
