Martoccia Avtar Singh David Brown (Student Member ) Committee Meetings: The committee held meetings in October, November, December, March and April. Attendance was excellent, all absences were accounted for by illness or other required University business. Reporting those missing would serve no purpose. Date of Report to the Faculty Senate During the Year: One resolution was sent to the Faculty Senate in October. Specific Instructions: None A Brief Statement of Committee Organization, Subcommittees, Research Activities: Meetings were of the committee as a whole. No formal subcommittees were formed. Research and data collection were normally provided by the staff of the Library. List of Committee Accomplishments Including Recommendations Made to Agencies Other Than the Faculty Senate: This year the Committee participated in the discussion of the issue of the new copiers for Joyner Library, the expansion of off-campus library services (a meeting was held with the Division of Continuing Education), reports were discussed related to the proposed new additions to Joyner and general space usage. One resolution concerning this issue was sent to the Faculty Senate. The Committee had discussions with the staff of Joyner concerning the placement of signs to direct the users of the facility.
