Resolution 86-19 instructed the Committee to hold hearings during Fall 1986 concerning calendars for the last decade of the twentieth century. A brief statement of Committee organization, subcommittees, research activities, etc. The Committee used ad-hoc subcommittees to prepare the original draft of proposed calendars but otherwise functioned as a whole. The Committee also consulted with the Registrar, Director of Admissions, Director of Athletics, and Student Government Association. List Committee accomplishments including recommendations made to agencies other than the Faculty Senate. Prepared and submitted to Faculty Senate recommended dates for beginning Early Registration in Fall 1986; Spring 1987; Fall 1987; and Spring 1988. Prepared and submitted to Faculty Senate a recommendation that Fall Break be changed from October 13 and 14, 1986 to October 27 and 28. Prepared and submitted to Faculty Senate calendars for Summer School 1988; Fall Semester 1988; and Spring Semester 1989. Prepared and submitted to Faculty Senate a report detailing reasons for recommended dates in Fall Semester 1988.
