The following resolutions approved by the Faculty Senate at its January 29,
1985, meeting are presented to you for your consideration:

Resolution 85-1 Amendment to the Constitution of the Faculty Senate:
changing "Division of Library Services" to "Academic
Library Services" and adding Health Sciences Library to
the list of units receiving an appropriated senator.

From Educational Policies and Planning Committee: The
Chair of the Faculty (or an appointed representative)

shall serve as an ex officio member of administrative

committees (including ad hoc committees).

Curriculum Committee actions recorded in minutes of
January 10, 1985

From the Faculty Affairs Committee: Each permanently
tenured faculty who is retiring must be considered for
emeritus rank by his or her unit according to established
unit personnel procedures and a recommendation be
forwarded to appropriate University officials.
