Column #2 = #faculty in unit (1984-85, from VCAA office)

Column #3 # senators alloted for 1984-85

Column #4 # of senators which would have been allotted if motion passed

Other information: The Senate Constitution requires that the Senate have

a number of senators between 44 and 52. The ratio of faculty in unit to

# of senators is determined each Spring. Last year the ratio was 23:1.

As you can see below, that would not have changed had HSL had a senate seat
of their own.
