Quorum: Four elected faculty members. 4, A. Committee Functions: The Calendar Committee is concerned with (1) the number of days the University shall be in session during the regular terms and the beginning and closing dates; (2) the number of days and the beginning and closing dates for each semester and summer session term; (3) the scheduling of examination periods; and (4) the scheduling of holidays and vacation periods;* (5) and other matters affecting the calendar. *Delete this sentence: The committee shall make recommendations concerning these matters. To Whom the Committee Reports: The committee makes its recommendations to the Faculty Senate in time for revision or amendment by the Faculty Senate. How Often the Committee Reports: The committee reports to the Faculty Senate as often as necessary, but at least once a year.
