Revise the charge of the Faculty Welfare Committee to include the study of salaries (83-43) B. Review the charge of the Student Recruitment and Retention Committee. A brief statement of committee organization, subcommittees, research activities, etc. Normal structure and organization; no subcommittees; however, individuals were asked to check various faculty members as to their willingness to serve on needed conmittees. List of committee accomplishments including recommendations made to other agencies other than the Faculty Senate. Recommended the dissolution of the Teacher Education Committee and the reduction of the quorum for the Teaching Grants Committee. Reviewed the request of the Student Recruitment and Retention Committee to establish a task force. The Committee on Committees reviewed their charge and reported to that committee that what they wished the task force to do was already in the committee's charge. The Committee on Committees reviewed the charge of the Admissions Committee specifically 4.4.5. and made recommendations to that committee and to the Curriculum Committee. The Committee revised the charge’ of the Faculty Welfare Committee and - recommended the reduction in the number of members presently needed for a quorum in the Research/Creative Activity Committee. A slate of nominees was presented to the Faculty Senate for all the academic and administrativve committees. Citation of the Senate resolution numbers that originated with the committee. 83-37 Dissolution of Teacher Education Committee 83-38 Reduction of quorum of Teaching Grants Comittee 84-14 Revised Faculty Welfare Charge Proposals and/or business to be carried over to next year.
