Dear MS. Boyce:

I approve the Faculty Senate approved revision of

the Department of Library Science Code with the following
modifications:

Section IV, C, 4. Add the phrase "In accord with

appendix C". Additional approvals of criteria are
required.

Section IV, C, 6. Omit. These issues are fully
covered in appendix D, section VI.

Section VIII In the sentence after (1) omit the
word "voting" and replace it with the words "permanently

tenured faculty". Appendix L, Section B requires perman-
ently tenured faculty to approve codes.
