Karen Hancock: $835 for funds to attend the Leisure and Aging Management School in Wheeling, West Virginia. Terri Lynn Imershein: $281 for funds to purchase videotapes to assist in a writing skills project for PRC students. Psychology John Cope and Susan McCammon: $634 for funds to bring Dr. Siegel, chair of ae the Psych. Dept. at Louisiana State University for purpose of presenting a process model for departmental faculty evaluation. Robert S. Tacker: $685 for funds to attend the National Institute of the Teaching of Psychology to Undergraduates. Sociology, Anthropology, and Economics Kathryn Grzelkowski and Jim Mitchell: $526 for funding of a project involving collection of information from sociologists for the purpose of development of student skills in social sciences. School of Education Patricia J. Anderson: $290 for funding of the project directed at identifying and interviewing local "master" teachers. Nicholas Radeka: $150 for funding of a project involving introduction of alternative devices and procedures for the assessment of creative behavior of preschool handicapped children to prospective teachers in the special and elementary education teacher preparation programs. Darryl Davis: $1,180 for funding of a project concerning development of instructional units for improving student knowledge of the science of industrial materials selection and application. Keeter: $500 for AGC Continuing Construction Education Program Proposed replacement for *at bottom of page L-2 A voting faculty person is defined for the purposes of this code, that is, for the purposes of all faculty voting relating to the appointment of administrative officials, the development of unit codes, unit program (quadrenniel) evaluations, and unit administrator evaluations (quadrenniel) as a full-time individual with an academic title or on special faculty appointment (cf. The Code, 604 C) and not less than half a normal teaching or research program as practiced in his or her unit. The teaching-research requirement does not apply to heads of units, librarians, the faculty of the Counseling Center, or other University officers who may hold tenured positions in home units. Voting rights within individual units on matters addressed in their codes other than these referred to in this present document should be a topic addressed in individual unit code development. Thus, unit decisions on other voting rights are controlled by the above stated definition. The School of Medicine and Division of Continuing Education may define voting faculty for the purposes of this code in accordance with their unique structures subject to the approval of the Faculty Senate. The General Faculty shall consist of all full-time members of the teaching or research staff who hold an academic title, including those on special faculty appointment (cf. The Code 604 C.)
