Dear John,

The following resolution passed by the Faculty Senate November 16,
1982, ie preseated for your consideration:

9? FQ me Faculty Senate requests the Administration not
oe to record on official student academic records all courses

in which a student enrolls but subsequently elects to drop
during the first thirty class days of a semester or the
firet ten days of a summer session tern.

In the event that student records already include courses

dropped within the thirty-day period, the Faculty Senate
further requests that these coursee dropped be removed from
student official academic records.

When we have assigned a number to all the resolutions epproved
by the Senate at the November meeting, we will notify your office.
Another letter detailing the remaining resolutions will follow

shortly.
