Dear Chancellor Brewer:

In accordance with your decision specified in a letter to

Dr. Thomas H. Johnson, dated June 3, 1981, concerning the in-
clusion of a Fall break in the Fall Semester of 1982, the
Calendar Committee met on October 23, 1981, to revise the
1982 Fall Semester Calendar to include a two-day Fall break
on October 18-19 (Monday and Tuesday). To make up for the

lost days of instruction, classes will be held on Labor Day

(September 6) and an additional day at the end of the semester
(December 8).

If there is any question regarding the changes in the
enclosed 1982 calendar, please let me know.
