SUBCOMMISSION ON ORGANIZATION CHARGE 1 The Subcommission on Organization shall provide recommendations for the most effective academic and administrative organization of the University. These recommendations will be drawn primarily from the preliminary proposals of the Subcommissions on Academic Programs, Academic Support, Institutional Support, Student Service, and Public Service. The Organization Subcommission shall review task force reports evolved from questions developed hy the Sub- commissions concerning faculty, academic and administrative organization. ‘The Subcommission on Organization shall recommend a ten-year master plan for a en nen er the location and assignment of University facilities. This shall include a reassessment of present facility assignments and future additions to the physical plant. Alternative plans shall be developed. The Subcommission on Organization shall review additional recommendations developed by task forces involved in the planning process; it shall estab- lish Task Forces to review: - Faculty Organization that shall include evaluations of General Faculty Organizations. - Academic Organization that shall include academic committees, the Faculty Senate, its committees, and other pertinent areas for improve- ments, shared by the Faculty Senate and the Administration, - Administrative organization that shall include administrative com- mittees, other than those shared by the Faculty Senate and the Administration, and other pertinent subjects and recommend, if neces- sary, improvements. ' The Subconmission on Organization shall submit a preliminary "Draft ITI" with planning priorities for consideration and evaluation by the Planning Commission.
