The Committee originally voted to change the current policy to make the student consult the instructor and follow channels even if the instructor did not approve. At the next meeting the committees, based on information from Deans and Department Heads, voted to rescind the original action and leave the policy as is. Deans and Department Heads did not want to be consulted after the first 30 days. The Committee also discussed possible editorial changes for the catalog sections on transfer credit. Further action awaits a re- wording from the Vice Chancellor's Office. Resolutions initiated: None to Unfinished business: A request to reconsider the entire drop policy as a result of the large number of students attempting drop through the Vice Chancellor's Office.
