There was not a quorum at a call meeting scheduled May 28, 1981. Date of reports to the Faculty Senate during the year: None Instructions given to the Committee by the Faculty Senate: None Committee organization, subcommittees, research activities: The Committee functions as a whole. An ad hoc subcommittee met with the Subcommission on Public Service of the Planning Commission to discuss recommendations relating to consulting activities of faculty. eB ViI. Committee accomplishments and recommendations to agencies other than the Faculty Senate: The Committee approved a draft document of procedures for faculty and staff participation in biennial budget preparation. The Committee recommended editorial changes in the sections on Consulting and Public Information in the working draft of the Sub- commission on Public Services of the Planning Commission. The Committee forwarded a statement of concern from the Library Services Faculty to the Libraries Task Force (Subcommission on Academic Support of the Planning Commission). Senate resolutions originating with the Committee: None Proposals and/or business to be carried over to next year: None Evaluation of the Committee: A. Structure: appropriate to the charge of the Committee. (Note: Committee membership was reduced by one during the year, as a result of Senate action abolishing the Campus Facilities, Plan- ning and Development Committee.) Duties: appear. to be well defined in charge Functions: will need to be evaluated at the completion of the planning process. D. Personnel: members served responsibly.
