Quorum: 3 faculty members exclusive of ex officio. A. The Continuing Education Committee advises the Dean of Continuing Education on programs, faculty, student services such as study skills, career and academic counseling, and future directions of continuing education. The committee examines and recommends policies relating to faculty teaching including qualifications, number of hours and compen- sation, in the Division of Continuing Education. The committee recommends to the Faculty Senate for its approval policies relating to all aspects of faculty work in the Division of Continuing Education, including teaching assignments, qualifications, and compensation. The committee makes appropriate recommendations to the Dean of Continuing Education. The committee reports to the Senate as often as necessary but at least once a year.
