The reverse of the card states that Ayer's Pills "are compounded from the extracted and concentrated virtues of purely vegetable substances, and combine the choicest cathartic principles in medicine". Ayer's Pills are adapted for curing ailments of the stomach, liver, and bowels. They cure jaundice, indigestion, headache, dizziness, and biliousness. The pills are put up in wooden boxes, and in damp climates glass vials are used. One of the cards in particular was for Ayer's Cathartic Pills. However, it did not have 7 naked boys on it but rather 12. It measures 11x15 and has been stamped with "PAUL C. FULLER & CO., PRESCRIPTION DRUGGISTS, ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA". I thought you may be interested as they are original and authentic AND from the home of the world famous Mayo Clinic (my employer). I have spent hours looking through this interesting book. It is a large book, measuring 16x21 inches and contains a multitude of cards, calendars and assorted images.
