The human hair is a feature so important
to personal comfort and beauty, that
men of ability have devoted years of

: combine in Ayer’s Hair Vigor, the

choice ingredients requisite to produce a

preparation which restores gray hair to

its original color, ‘prevents baldness,

preserves the hair and promotes its growth, cures

dandruff and all diseases of the hair and scalp, and which

forms, at the same time, a very superior and desirable

dressing. Ayer’s Hair Vigor is entirely free from

substances uncleanly, dangerous to health, or injurious to

the hair; and its use is uniformly beneficial, wholesome,
effectual and safe.

The Vigor is not a dye; but daily applications for 2
week or two so stimulate the roots and color-glands, that
faded or gray, light or red hair, gradually changes to a
rich brown color, or even black, as may be desired, after
which the shade is maintained by occasional use. By its
use, also, thin hair is thickened, and baldness often, though
not always, cured.

As a DRESSING for ladies’ hair, there is nothiag more
agreeable than the Vigor. It is colorless, and renders
the hair soft, pliant and glossy. To brashy, weak, or
otherwise diseased hair, it restores vitality, and imparts
the brillianey and freshness of youth; while its immediate
softening and beautifying effects are very lasting, making
it the most economical as well as the best dressing in
the world.
