Notice is hereby to the voters
of Pitt county that the board of county
at their meeting on the
first day of April, it being the
day of said ordered that an
election lie held at the various
places in said county on Tuesday. May
14th, 1907. for the purpose of taking the
sense of the qualified voters of said
county on the proposition to confer upon
the board of county of
said county the authority to issue and
sell interest bearing coupon bonds, of
said county, not to exceed the sum of
fifty thousand dollars to run for thirty
years and to bear interest at a rate not
percent. The proceeds of
the sale of said bonds to lie used in aid-

point in Pitt county for a training school
for white teachers, and the excess, if
any, of the fund arising from the sale
of said bonds, after securing the
