and King but was not present. I <lb />
was town the Saturday evening <lb />
before and drove up to Keel's <lb />
stable. was there at the <lb />
time. Some time was consumed <lb />
here by argument of objection <lb />
raised by State that the testimony <lb />
of this witness was collateral <lb />
matter. Court decided testimony <lb />
was competent. Keel turned <lb />
buggy around and told colored <lb />
to bring nut his fast horse. Keel <lb />
asked me if met Is. I told <lb />
him yes, I met on bridge. I <lb />
asked what was the matter, he said <lb />
nothing. Keel told me put up my <lb />
horse and he and King drove off. <lb />
I was there when they returned. <lb />
Keel of King and <lb />
they were gone half hour. <lb />

replied, we got what we went after. <lb />
