FRIDAY. MAR. <lb />
Bye and bye will know- <lb />
how the census run. <lb />
After all years, <lb />
is talking about passing a bill to <lb />
the Maine. <lb />
us from the cold <lb />
storage turkey of seven years <lb />
tending <lb />
Greenville must follow her <lb />
past records and come out of the <lb />
fire better than ever. <lb />
false hair being infected <lb />
with leprosy will put the women <lb />

The comic supplement has <lb />
e so sorry that it is a little <lb />
strange that the Charlotte Ob- <lb />

day. <lb />
When the executive commit <lb />

Two other serious losses to, Tie <lb />
Greenville by the lire are the <lb />
public library rest room. <lb />
It is bad to sustain loss by tire, <lb />
yet it helps a man not to be dis- <lb />
but do his best to over- <lb />
come it. <lb />
The Philadelphia street car <lb />
strike brought the city of <lb />
down to a <lb />
walk.<lb />
Yes sir, Greenville is <lb />
to get that public building, nod <lb />
it will be one to bring credit to <lb />
the town. <lb />
demonstrated that Greenville <lb />
needs a more effective tire alarm <lb />
system word of mouth and <lb />
shooting tire arms. <lb />
When the Board of County <lb />
set to cork to get <lb />
a new court we hope they <lb />
will decide to erect a handsome <lb />
up t i-date building. <lb />
ting their eyes. <lb />
Most Greenville people have <lb />
as yet not caught up on sleep <lb />
since the lire, their <lb />
fully settled, but Sunday <lb />
will help them bring around to <lb />
normal condition.<lb />
The Greenville Re pro- <lb />

The noble women of the End <lb />

From the best information <lb />

that some time having elapsed <lb />

not remember its contents. <lb />

started toward Powell and while <lb />
was shot somewhere in <lb />
his left side, mar the back. <lb />
went to his store, a <lb />

Messrs. Kitchin and Travis <lb />

It is said that Powell, who <lb />
about years old, says he will <lb />
kill any one attempting to arrest <lb />
him. Mayor Liverman and Dunn, who died yesterday <lb />
citizens generally, art acting <lb />
with a proper deliberation and <lb />
will take Powell, but don't want <lb />
to hurt him. <lb />
Mrs. Powell is an invalid, con- <lb />
fined in bed, while her husband <lb />
has barricaded himself in the <lb />
same house. <lb />
has surrendered <lb />
and arrangements are to <lb />
take him to Halifax tonight. <lb />
The doctors say Dunn is resting <lb />
quietly. It is a miracle no one <lb />
was killed. <lb />
No one except the parties in <lb />
the matter know of the contents <lb />
of the letter in question in the <lb />
shooting and there is only rumor <lb />
as to what it contained. Some <lb />
time ago a son of Mr. Powell was <lb />
in some trouble, being tried at <lb />
Halifax for the cutting of a man. <lb />
In the some sort of a com- <lb />
promise reached and the <lb />
young acquitted. In <lb />
that trial Meara. and <lb />
assisted the young man. <lb />

that Mr. Powell wanted Mr. <lb />

entire business of the town was <lb />
suspended during the hour of <lb />

Representative A. P. Kitchin, <lb />
