The Southern Land Company encouraged emigration of Northerners and Foreigners to the Hyde Park Settlement by selling land cheaply. The pamphlet explains all the resources that the region had to offer including soil types, what crops grow best, and fresh water reservoirs. It contains a list of summer resorts and a brief description of the towns near the Hyde Park area.
