Abstract of Recollections of my teacher Frank S. Wilkinson Recollections of my teacher Frank S. Wilkinson Lichtenstein, Gaston, 1879-1954 LA2317.W56 L56x 1953?

Frank S. Wilkinson, who was graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1857, taught at the Tarboro Male Academy during the late nineteenth century. Among his students was Joseph Blount Cheshire, who became an Episcopal priest and bishop. Lichtenstein describes his conversations with Wilkinson during his school days and includes a letter from Wilkinson to him. Appearing at the end of this narrative is an essay entitled "Masonic Musings," which contains information about the history of Masons in Tarboro.
