	<p>By the Blesing of god I am Well at this time I am 4 miles below Branshville on the River wating for the yanks to cum up again Then we will fight them and fall Back to the next River we lost a good many men the 3 of this month at Broxton Bridge Then we fel Back to the RR rode 20 miles west of Branshville there we took the train to Bransh we fite and run I expect wee will run past Harris Depo Before long hard times anit Beter cuming I hope I wodent be Seprised if we Dident fall back to Columba Sum of those nights Well Mag I Rec your leter at Branchville I was glad to here form you I got my mony and one leter since you rote Sumthing a bout pece well pece is a harmonious sound or it wod be to me // Cornlious Alexander is gone to Columbia with the mesels I dont think he will hardly get over them</p>
