	<p>[Top part of the letter is missing] wrote in ten days as I have been on picet and I hant gut my trunk yet and I left my paper and envelops So I hant got nuthing to rite with only as I Borow I dont no when I will get it I am going to <name type="place" key="name-00000009"><reg>Wilmington (N.C.)</reg><orig>Wilming</orig></name> to morow I will get Sum paper and envelops if can get of I dont no today where I will be to morow I cant promis what I Will do to morow if I go I will get you Sum Stamps if I can and Send in this leter you Spoke of a loom I dont care if you get one but I dont want you to be seling of your corn or giving things away if you got any wheat to sel grind it and sell the fower and save the Bran for the pigs when you get time dont be driblen it out when you git don plowing Sell your corn all in a pile those hierd Nigers will be to pay for drible out you corn and Stuff and you wont I no what you have got for it,, if you have any to Sell</p>
