	<p>I landed here last knight we are under marchen orders I dont no where we will go I left every thing I had only what I cold cary on my Back at Caswell wee are redy for action we will to day for Som point I dont no where we ma go to <name type="place" key="name-00000014"><reg>Petersburg (N.C.)</reg><orig>Peters Burg</orig></name> or down on the sound towards <name type="place" key="name-00000015"><reg>New Bern (N.C.)</reg><orig>Nubern</orig></name> I cant tell wee are wating for orders to march I cant tel where we will go the is hard times in VA Serten and Shore<note n="1" type="edit">Serten and Shore: certain and sure</note></p>
