	<p>I Seat my Self this morning to drop you a fu more lines By the blesing of god I have lived to see anuther Marc and it found mee well in health but no farther can I say then then a hope cums in for the future but the result I dont know times here is dark one gloomy Soldiers to in Spirits our curency is a nuther Stumbling block in the way well Mag I think you had beter have your mony funded in bons all over five dolars you had beter keep all the fives I have got more mony than I want to keep down here I cant by any thing it is of no use to mee it is a [illegible] to make one so good by to con for</p>

	<p>Well Mag I receved both your leter yesterday I was glad to here from you all but was sorry to here of my mothers affliction but the Lords will be dun not mine nor thine I hope she will recuver that is all I can do for her I hope the rest of the famely will take good care of her I cant git home I wold like to See the old lady very much but it is out of my power to do so tel John MC to Write to me if he hant got Nuthing elce to do I dont want to pester him if he is throng I rote C.A.C. and <name type="person" key="name-00000003"><reg>Dinson A. Caldwell</reg><orig>D.A.C.</orig></name> a leter each and receved no answer I got a few lines form J.M.C. two months ago I dont like (the rest of the letter is missing)</p>
