Paulum sepultx distat inertiz celata virtus.”’ CAMP OF INSTRUCTION. ’ The regiment was mobilized at the Camp of Instruction at “Crab Tree,” about three miles from Raleigh, N.C. At this Camp, during the months of July and August, 1861, were assembled ten companies from the counties of Alamance, Anson, Ashe, Caldwell, Chatham, Moore, Randolph, Union, Wake, and Wilkes.
