- This 16 mm black-and-white A and B roll consists of the original edited picture elements created during production of The Helene Story. Unlike the completed release version, this copy contains no synchronized audio. The film documents the effects of Hurricane Helene as it struck the Carolina coast on September 27, 1958, and includes many of the visual sequences used in the final production produced by the news and weather departments of WNCT and WECT. A roll runtime 23:34, B roll runtime 22:03.
