- Black and white photograph of a band in suits and several female dancers in costumes and dresses, all African American, with a seated audience on either side. "Takin Greenville N.C." written on the back. The women were a part of a group called Brown Skin Models. Pictured performers include Willie Jones, Theresa Jones, Hot Popper, and Katherine Ham according to notes on the back of the accompanying flyer. Apparently an image from the film or filming of "Pitch a Boogie Woogie," a musical comedy featurette made by Lord-Warner Pictures in Greenville, North Carolina. Filmmaker John W. Warner operated a Black-audience theater, the Plaza, in Greenville. Also includes half of a flyer for the screening of the restored film at ECU in 1986 with notes on back identifying several of the performers in the picture and biographical notes.
