I was there as a photographer working free-lance; the guy in the helmet is one of the Klan security. They were everywhere and kept press out. I had cleared in advance with the "Klan Bureau of Investigation" (no joke) so I got in. Quite impressive, especially the cross burning but very scary. I spotted a Justice of the Peace I recognized with his robes on and he ran when he saw me with a camera!
