Coach Ed Emory is the first on the left. He was head coach of the ECU Pirates from 1980 thru 1984. His 1983 Pirates had a 8-3 record and finished the season ranked # 20 in the AP football poll. He was inducted into the ECU Hall of Fame in 2003. A true PIRATE.
