MINUTES OF STAFF MEETING

Psychology Department
March 25, 1970

The Psychology Department held its March meeting in EP 112 at 12 o'clock, March 25,
1970.

All members except Dr. W. F. Grossnickle were present.

At this meeting two items of business were considered: discussion of a new course

to be added in psychology and the selection of the representative for the Faculty
Senate.

Following suggested election procedures, Dr. W. F. Grossnickle was elected to be
the psychology representative to the Faculty Senate for the next year.

Psychology 218--The Psychology of Disease and Disability--is needed by the new
curriculum in Allied Health for physical therapists. This will be a 2-hour course.
Mrs. Stapleton explained the general background of the work between her and Mr.
Hamilton. The Psychology Department voted to accept the course with one dissenting
vote.

Dr. Prewett reported that the doctoral proposal was nearing completion and that the
final copy would be edited by a committee composed of Mrs. Stapleton, Dr. Long, and
Dr. Prewett.
