That looks like the old Rose High School, now Eppes Middle School, in the distance. Then left of Rose are some of the dorms atop college hill. To the far left is one of the small white houses that once faced 14th street. Elmhurst would be further to the left, but is not pictured. The vehicle is on Elm, about to cross the tracks just before the intersection of Elm and 14th. Probably from the early 1960s.
