Ayden Notes.

AYDEN N. ©. Feb 11th 1895.
Mr. J. H. Ovobbis makiug things
lovely here with, his guano and
potatoes and big stock of grocer-
ies.

No less than sixteen drummers
paid their respects to Ayden last
week, but nv one heard them
boasting of the sales they made

ere.

Avden now has eizht stores of
general werchandise. Several
carloads of guano have been re
ceived, also one carload of seed
potatoes.

Talk of short socks coming into|
vogue for the ladies should not
surprise. With fashions ever
lastingly changing the wonder is
they have worn t
ing so long.

The machine wliere for putting
up tobacco flues and Messrs. Et
