Description
Three video recordings of interviews for promotional usage for diversity initiatives and b-roll footage of an African American Literature class from 2010. The first interview is raw footage with Dr. Taffye Benson Clayton, Associate Provost for Equity, Diversity, and Community Relations at ECU. Dr. Benson Clayton introduces new programs at ECU that promote diversity in the workplace. The second interview is with Dr. Reginald Watson, a literature professor at ECU and founder of the student dramatic group, East Carolina University Thespians of Diversity. Dr Watson discusses the importance of inclusion and diversity at ECU, and how he highlights these topics in his courses. Second video recording has been edited to remove raw footage. The third video footage of an African American Literature class. Videos run between 7 minutes, 30 seconds and 27 minutes, 4 seconds. Videocassette case labelled "African American studies class, 334."
